sugg: login without having a blog

Error

Sorry, you don't belong to any blog yet.

this is what we get when the admin doesn't set a blog for a new user... we can avoid this with something cool:

Error

Sorry, you don't belong to any blog yet.

... do you want to create your blog right now, or continue to browse, or logout ???

this would be good.. having a link to create the blog, or go to the main page, or simply logout from that account...

because for now, if we're not belonging to any blog, we're simply not logged-in after that page.

Yeah, that sounds like a reasonable one... Not difficult at all to implement.

The thing is, you're overwhelming me with requests and suggestions  I have set up a page in the wiki for such purpose, since I feel more comfortable dealing with the wiki in order to go through the things that need to be done, could you list them all here: http://plog.bliang.com/wiki/index.php?pagename=Roadmap ? I will take care of sorting the priority, when they should be implemented and so on...

The page also describes the roadmap that I had in mind.

It's not a matter of taste... it's just that you have thrown in more requests/suggestions in the last few days than everybody else did in the whole history of the project  And the problem is that I've lost track of them , so that's why I suggested putting them in a centralized place or else I will forget... If you have any suggestion as to how to do that, please go ahead! ;)

ya, i may be over-excited about this project, this is why i suggest many things.

to have a central place to "log" things, i always suggest the forum itself... posts are already readable, you don't have to receive emails notifications, simply visit the forum often to see new posts (icons are good for that) ... and you can Tag the posts when something is good...

like [>>0.31] for things that will be in the 0.31 version... ya it's a versioning tag thing... i like tags in topic titles... ;)... [REJECTED] is another way to tag...

point is that actually, i posted a new topic for each suggestion, so it's easy to track... adding more and more content to your mailing-list is another way to track things, but i find the forum to be less intruding ... and the wiki... is a wiki... anybody can modify, even if the admin is not happy with it...

another problem with the forum is the private side... if coders have their own place to suggest and debug, it'S ok.. but for now, i see only the place where everybody can suggest and talk about anything... that's why i had to PM you about that bug today... i can'T put my user/pass and url because i want it to be seen by you only.

anyway.. this is my way to see things.

hmm, i too am not used to adding to a wiki instead of a message board but I see the logic. How about either Oscar or one of us volunteers to add a condensed set of feature requests a few times a week to the wiki after they are posted here?

Or, we can continue to post suggestions on boards, afterall this board is called 'Requests and Suggestions' and then Oscar can add the ones he aproves to the Wiki symbolizing that they are features he will plan to add.

I dont know, I am involved ober at nucleuscms.org and we use boards and wiki but wiki is primarily for documentation and plugin archives, not feature requests.

I will take care of collecting the requests from this board and adding them to the wiki 8) The thing I don't like about forums is that I tend to lose the information. If there are many posts in a category, the old ones disappear from view (well, kinda :)) and then I always end up forgetting... That's why I suggested the wiki, I can see the whole page full of feature requests without having to jump from topic to topic!
