delete comments directly on the home page

Hi,
Once I logged in to my dashboard, can I just go back to home page and have "DELETE" icon next to each comment, or have a check box, and then at the bottom "DELETE" for bulk deletion of comments?

Or do you think it is not secure to have it that way?

So you're asking for mass deletion of comments via the dashboard?

I don't think the dashboard was meant for that. It was mostly meant as a summary of the most recent activity happening in your blog, but that's all. More advanced functions are available once you drill down through the admin interface...

I mean he asked for that:
-I log in to my account
-I visit my blog like other people can
-I see a comment I don't want
-I have a button or check bock to delete it directly from the page, without ahving to go in the admi panel

Yes, like monsieur ogd39 explained.
It is even without going in to dashboard, same goes with trackbacks.

I have been getting a lot of spams lately, even with image verification.

You can sort of do that - copy the code that looks for whether you are authenticated when posting a comment (If I recall, it is in /templates/default/commentform.template)
and add a link to the admin.php?op=deleteComment or whatever it is.
