Link to wikipedia with[[ ]]

I dont know. Perhaps there is already a plugin that can do this. If so, please let me know.

I would like a function, plugin like the following. When I write a text and do word between to [[ ]] lifetype should link to the wikipedia article.

Example: I like [[bread]]
Output: I like bread

You may want to try http://wiki.lifetype.net/index.php/Plugin_textparser. The Download Link points to a Plugin for 1.1.x Versions, though. I'll have to check if we have an upgraded version of that Plugin.

Thank you for that hint. Unfornately that plugin doesnt work with 1.2.6 Version.

I am looking for a plugin as simple as possible. Maybe (but I dont know) its easier to do filter instead of a plugin for that function.

you would have to write a plugin to use the filter, anyway. So porting this one to 1.2.x would be a good start. I'll put it on my todo's for now...
