Blog by Email using "Google for my Domain"

Postby denali on Tue Nov 20, 2007 2:08 pm

My email hosting for my domain is handled by Google. They use POP3/IMAP over SSL. As a result, I don't have the ability to or don't grasp how to set up cURL to process messages.

Is there a plugin to blog by email with "Google for my Domain"?

http://wiki.lifetype.net/index.php/Plugin_moblog

Look under "batch publishing" and "pseudobatch setup".

I did see that, but it mentions not being able to strip the password check. The password check in my setup would not be necessary because the email account will have a white list of acceptable recipients and would send unacceptable recipients to trash.

What password check should be stripped?

I think I don't understand, you always need a username and a password to log into a POP3 server don't you?
