Moderate/edit comments

Unless i'm wrong, it isn't possible to edit comments, usually many people love to edit comments to remove bad words or answer directly to a comment in it. Is there a way to add this feature, or may it be added?

thank you!

This has been implemented as a feature in LT 2.0.

In the meantime, there's a plugin that implements this feature for LT 1.2: http://wiki.lifetype.net/index.php/Plugin_editcomments

Thanks phunkphorce! I really missed that one. Good to know it will be in the core of LT 2.0 as well :)

erm i just installed edicomments v1.2 and there's a huge security issue, any user can edit any comment, including the ones of other users by modifying the GET variable commentId.. so it allows to view them, and when saving it doesn't check if it belongs to the same blog as well..

will add it to the bugtracker

use the moderate comments plugin instead - it's available in the plugins and comments are then only shown after moderation by the blog owner...
