Another feature i'd like to see is the ability to make a linking page with the same template as the one of the main page, but with the ability to put my own text in the body of the page. This could be useful in the making of an "About Me" section, or something of the like. Is this even possible?

Yes of course it's possible! Moreover, it's been there since early pre-0.1 version! I guess this link will be useful for you:
