only general on front page?

Is it possible to make a switch that only stuff from a certain category is on the front page?`
I have 3 categories and I would like to show only 1 on the front page.
It would make the whole thing much easier to use.

With the, hopefully, upcoming search engine it would be perfect!

Thanks for mentioning this feature. I always wanted to have it but somehow, I had completely forgotten about it I had a couple of free hours today so I happily got round to implementing it I'm about to commit it to CVS so it will be included in 0.3.

Every category has now an additional attribute, that tells wether that category should be shown or not in the main page so in a way, I improved your own suggestion a little You can now show more than only one category on the front page. If you only want one, then simply disable every other category but that one. I thought it'd better that way
