Central Blog Storage

Postby AlikanSparkes on Thu Nov 29, 2012 1:42 pm

I've searched this forum, and Google. I can't find anywhere the answer to this question:

Where are all the RAW blog files stored? I would like to back them up, when I try to upgrade, or when I am making large edits the LifeType.

I have put a lot of work into my blogs, and I have quite a few viewers, I would hate if suddenly, my fault or my web host's fault, it would all go missing.

What folder can I back up to keep all the blogs safe?

Thanks a lot!

I have LifeType 1.2

Sorry for the late reply - I thought I had checked this more regularly.

I'm not sure what you mean by "raw" files. All of the data for your blog is in the database (not counting the images/files in the gallery directory, and your template in /templates). So backing up the database would get all of the data, but not in a format that is useful to anyone other than LifeType, except a custom PHP script to export the data, etc.
