Lifetype Integration: autologin

Lifetype Integration: autologin

Postby xel on Fri Aug 26, 2011 8:14 am

I expand lifetype on portal subdomain.
I want to use portal user base for lifetype.

I use `Lifetype User Data Provider`facilities but I'd like the user autologined before could enter to lifetype automatically.

I got user id from session variables but don't know how to init login using this id and create auth session in lifetype.

Sorry - I didn't see your post for some reason.

Have you looked at the other userdata providers, other than the lifetype class? That is probably the direction to go in first.

Yes, I saw other providers

all of it hard linked with lifetype OOP-model and too hard to perceive

of course i can use javacript and create form with login/password and autosubmit it to lifetype login over my dataprovider, but It's unprofessional and unsafety
I want to make a function
Code: Select all
public function autologin ($ id){
...
}

which authorizes the user

What id will be passed into that function, lifetype's id? or your other system?

my other system, that has data provider class

process now:
1) user auth in main domain (example.com)
2) user click to blogs links and enter to blogs (blogs.example.com)
3) user put his login and password again and auth in blogs (over data provider)

I want remove last stage.

3a) i open main domain session
3b) i get user id
3c) ?

how to init succession of events, that auth user?

what data is in the session? Is the username in your other system guaranteed to be unique, or is only the userid?

username and userid unique, and worked over data providing

in abstract simple project i has class 'authentification.php' and function auth($user="", $pass="") in it, that processed data from $_POST
and i can solved subj-task by expand this function to function auth($user="", $pass="", $sessionlogin=false), call it (if SESSION has userid) and check last arg

but lifetype has over 670 classes and i cannot find point to expand
