That looks pretty good, thank you for sharing this valuable information!

But the code needed to generate your page titles looks pretty heavy, I wonder if there's something that we could do at the code code level to make things easier.

Just to let you know, I've integrated this idea into Lifetype 1.2 so that now the $pageTitle variable in the template contains an automatically generated title that does not need any modification and whose contents change depending on where we are. The format of the titles is inspired on your tutorial, so hopefully this improvement will make your templates a bit easier to ready :)

I've already integrated this in our project page at http://www.lifetype.net, you can have a look at the page titles:

Those titles seem quite good. I'll update the tutorial to let future 1.2 users know they won't have to follow the page title part. By the way, will the code-generated titles be customizable from the administration area?

Edit:

Tutorial updated. Should I write a small guide in the Solutions category about how to activate the new page title generation system? Or is it too early for that?

The automatically generated titles will not be customizable but the core code will provide reasonable values for 98% of the users. For the 2% left, they can still customize the template even further using the current mechanism if needed.

Thanks for your providing such an valuable information. SEO is a term used to make your website more search engine friendly and improving the rank in the listings through the use of certain keywords throughout your website. Where SEO is concerned there are a few ways to improve your rank; you could do it the hard way and manually submit, or you could pay for your website to be listed higher or have pay per click advertisements featured on the search engines. It all depends on what budget you have available.

Or you can do it how you tried, by spamming blogs to get your "seo company" higher ranks. sorry, you'll have to spam somewhere else.
