PROPOSAL: system wide custom fields and more

I'd be nice to have system wide custom fields, and it would be nice to have a list of blogs or permissions which enables/disables them for specific blogs.

How do I add a new textfield to Administration -> Summary? With a plugin?

E.g. summary_service_name is used for the title and the meta tag description.
What if I want description and title to differ? or what about other meta tags like robots or keywords?

plugins don't run in the summary. I think you are asking about modifying the summary templates.

I mean the Summary Panel in the Administration section from lifetype. How do i add custom fields to it?

I'd definitely like to see custom fields for categories, that way one could have a custom meta description for each...

however I've added a couple of fields to the global settings -> summary template ( had to add some fields to lt_config ).
here are the 4 new fields available in the summary templates:
"summary_service_generator"
"summary_service_description"
"summary_service_keywords"
"summary_service_robots"

the goal was to make the summary page a little bit more flexible and search engine friendlier.
