Niestety żaden z podanych linków nie działa. :(
Czy mógłbym prosić o ponowne wysłanie polskiego tłumaczenia?
Z góry dziękuję

I don't see it saved anywhere. For new locales, they should be uploaded to bugs.lifetype.net, where all feature requests go. Additionally, there is a translation mailing list, so the authors can be notified when the strings are done for a new release, so the translations can be released at the same time as the new release.

I am not sure if there is an easier method than looking at the 1.2.4 english strings files (both the admin and the public side) and adding any new strings to the file you have, and then upload both of the files to bugs.lifetype.net.

Hi,

I would like to appologize form my english...
I'm working with LifeType 1.2.5. I've prepared the files for polonization and upload directly to locale/ and locale/admin/. Have I do something more, beacouse they didn't appear on admin panel on the languages list...

Second think is that, that I've change encoding in file locale_en_UK.php from iso-8859-1 to UTF-8 but LifeType stiil send in headers the old encoding what confused me, couse for a moment I've no idea what can I change more or where to set something.

Thanks for reply,

Tom

Can you post your file to bugs.lifetype.net? That way it will be here for everyone.

More problems...

Postby tommy_from_cracow on Sun Feb 24, 2008 6:04 pm

Hi,

I've put my translation at the tracker.

Bu now I've got another problem. There is an array with in the locale file with translation of months name. In polish language in some context the month's name should be in some variant. So using the aray in locale file I allways get it in nominative. I was trying to look in LifeType API to find the class that parse the locales but I didnt find it...

So, so I would like to have an extra array with the months name, nominative is good for callendar with the posts, but not good for a date when Im calling it with this method:

Code: Select all
$post->getDateObject()

in the post.temlate.

Ofcourse I know that I can format the date just for the numbers like 2007-02-24 but I prefeare the string.

Thanks,
Tommy

Hi,
is the polish translation to the newest version ready? I'm asking becouse file of polish localization in version 1.2.10 is in English.

If the translation isn't ready I want to make that.

I know that I'm not very good of English and I make mistakes but translating from english to polish is easier than inversely.

Sobak.

Hm. that's weird, it doesn't look like there are any polish strings in there at all. I will check around, but I suspect that is the newest we have. You can also search over on bugs.lifetype.net, as a previous poster said he had uploaded something.

I've uploaded this guy's translation for the front-end. Thanks for getting this going.

Are you planning on translating the backend as well?

You can download his translation and install it in your blog to see if you like his translation:
